The Delaware Mine was a copper mine located in Delaware, Michigan. The mine operated from the mid 1800s until the late 1800s. The site consists of several old buildings, shafts and other artifacts. The site is well signed and preserved. It costs 14 dollars to enter the site. The mine tour is pretty amazing. You get to walk the first level of the mine. All the levels below are flooded.

Above ground there are several buildings. The old hoist house and pump house are still partially standing.

The Delaware mine is located just off highway 41 south of Copper Harbor, MI.
