The Arizona Group is a silver, lead and copper mine outside of Hailey. I visited this mine in the winter but it was much better when the snow melted. There are quite a few large tailing piles. There are also many metal artifacts lying around. There are also some old brick and wood structures that have collapsed. We didn’t see any open mine shafts.
Directions
This mine is located down Croy Creek Canyon west of Hailey. You can drive down Bullion Gulch to the old mine road for this mine. We decided to park near the turn out and walk the 1.5 miles to give the dogs some exercise.
