The Camas gold and silver mine is located in Doniphan. This mine consists of some concrete structures, metal and wood artifacts. This mine was active in the late 1800s and then again in the 1940s. This mine is remote but had a lot of graffiti and recent trash.
Directions
This mine is accessible from both Croy Creek Road and Highway 20. I approached it from Hailey down Croy Creek. You will need a high clearance vehicle to reach this mine site. It took about an hour to reach the mine from Hailey.
