The Custer Ghost Town is located past the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge. It was established as a mining town in 1877. It is now a museum that contains many artifacts from the era.
Directions
You can access Custer by traveling north on highway 75 through Stanley. Turn left at Sunbeam and head past the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge and stay to the right. You will drive right into town.
