The Edres Mine is a lead and silver mine located down Townsend Gulch outside of Bellevue. The mine entrance is still visible and with bars preventing entrance into the mine. There are lot’s of metal and wood artifacts lying around. The tailing piles are visible from pretty far away.
Directions
To access this mine you can approach it from a couple of different ways. It seems you can access it from the south via Glendale Road. I accessed this mine from the east via Townsend Gulch. It’s about a 3 mile walk. There was limited snow when I went so I was able to take the road the entire way there.
