The Iron Crown mine is a gold and silver mine located outside of Stanley. The mine is only tailing piles. The entrance is visible but collapsed. The mine is has a great view of the Sawtooth mountains.
Directions
This mine is located down the Joes Gulch Jeep Trail. You will need a high clearance vehicle but can drive directly to the mine site.
