The Washington Mine is a gold mine outside of Hailey. The hillside where this mine is located has been restored. It looks like there used to be significant run-off from this mine.
Directions
This mine site is accessible from Deer Creek off of Highway 75 north of Hailey. There is a park space near War Dance Gulch. This site is a couple of hundred meters from the parking space. This mine is on the way to the Consolidated War Dance and Jolly Sailor Mines.
